About the event
2025 marks the 51st anniversary for the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival! Every year, hundreds of thousands of people celebrate at the festival’s many offerings that fill 30+ blocks of the boardwalk. Daily concerts at 2 festival stages feature 20+ performances from local and national bands and DJs. On the boardwalk, you can find more than 200 artisans displaying handmade work at an Art & Craft Show. Keep walking to find 22 magnificent sand sculptures created by world-renowned international sculptors at Neptune’s International Sand sculpting Championship. Other weekend events include Neptune’s 8k Race, Grand Parade, Dock Dogs, Touch-a-Truck, Poseidon’s Playground, Volleyball Tournament, Surfing Classic, Atlantic Regatta, Youth Art Show, and more!
